High end home audio? - home theatre receiver high percentage of failures
In view of a high-end audio buy, but I do not buy into the theater "home in a box" that places like Best Buy sells. I would like to build my computer ... AV receiver and separate speakers. Can anyone recommend a good brand. I do not want the Sony, Yamaha and / or Panasonics of the world. Please help.

B + W to do great things if you plan to save money and upscale Gallo, hard to find, but if you're not going to be happy, man, rock on down the line
Sub
Screw the money in the best I've heard comes from a paradigm, and you do not have to spend up to 2000 on a sub, it is 600, and only paint on the walls of fraud
DVD Player

There are some very good mid-fi brands out there like Onkyo, Integra, Denon, Pioneer, Marantz, and bandits, but if you give us the high end, then take a look at Rotel, NAD and Meridian.
However, my choice for a home theater receiver Arcam final-it "model of the SA series of DIVA. One might even go with separates and get your processor and multi-channel amplifier. More money, and a little more discretion and level performance high.

DVD PLAYERS
Pioneer has a pair of turntables universal Nice, and it is the Blu-Ray and HD-DVPlayer D, but for now, I like the Oppo universal player. You get a lot of features and great quality for a Best Buy or Circuit City price, I bought one for me. A very good quality and would comfortably into any home theater or dedicated Hi-Fi. They have a model, the video in 1080p Upconvert, so your existing DVD collection is a new life. Even if you do not already have, you will be able to play SACD (and DVD-Audio can offer), which are even better than the sound on regular audio CDs.

WIRING
The wiring is good, no doubt an essential component of a high-end system and make a difference in my experience. My choice is DH Labs Silver Sonic for a complete line, that a giant killer in sound quality and video is at relatively low for a premium cable.

SPEAKERS
However, the largest component is (my favorite for the hearing) in a sound system is LoudsPeaker system. A bad speaker can ill-electronic sounds, make a lot more than bad electronics speakers poor condition, because they focus the bulk of spending in this area.
My choice for a super-high-end audio speaker system is as follows:
FRONT L & R
Silverline Audio Prelude and Allegro (Sonatina III, or if you have a lot that are so beautiful to the eyes as it is) listening to exotic finishing options made of real wood instead of wood from high quality vinyl like finish. Subwoofer
My choice here for an impressive performance at a reasonable price Hsu Research. Depending on the size of rooms, the best model is determined by any art for you unless you a tiny space of 100 square meters or less, I recommend two subs for music applications, and download a room better.
